SASSA Takes Solutions to Fernie Local Community

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie 2 Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services on the community.

SASSA are going to be rendering providers including new social grant applications, change of payment method, client treatment enquiries, as well as the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency explained it's alarmed in regards to the large number of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The intention from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a significant quantity click here of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This really is a result of the lack of infrastructure at here Fernie and there is no entirely functional office dedicated to service the area daily. The services place produced for intervention activities a high influx of opportunity beneficiaries, which makes it hard with the office to sassa status attend to all people who take a look at a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise more assets to enable the servicing of all consumers and raise entry to Social Assistance services,” the agency said.
